Vertical Response, the web-based online e-mail marketing solutions provider, has announced its acquisition by Deluxe Corporation, which provides a host of services for small businesses (SMBs).

According to a blog post on the VerticalResponse.com website, the company is on the cusp of launching an enhanced e-mail marketing and social media product which is expected to be rolled out in the near-future.

Deluxe Corporation has multiple businesses in its portfolio, including web hosting, logo design, search engine marketing (both SEO and PPC) through another company that they had acquired and a web-to-print service. The addition of e-mail marketing and social media with the acquisition of Vertical Response significantly enriches the company’s portfolio.

Vertical Response allows small businesses to quickly create and execute e-mail marketing campaigns; the company claims to have over 800,000 users worldwide including several from India and Asia.
